Simon is Executive Director of the Centre for Public Christianity. A former English and History teacher, Simon has a Masters in Christian Studies from Regent College, Vancouver. He has years of experience writing and editing both academic curricula and popular books. Simon speaks regularly on worldviews, public Christianity for a post-Christian world, the impact of Christianity on the West, and lives of faith.
Justine is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Christianity. She worked at Fairfax Digital before completing her doctorate in Cultural Studies at Macquarie University. She speaks and writes about freedom and individualism, the body as a project, and other trends in contemporary culture.
Natasha is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Christianity. She has a PhD in English from the University of Cambridge and is the author of Victorian Poetry and Modern Life: The Unpoetical Age, as well as editor of 10 Tips for Atheists … and other conversations in faith and culture. She speaks on such topics as freedom of speech and how to disagree well, the impact of Christianity on Western culture, and anything literature-related.
Richard is a part-time Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Christianity. He is also Director of the Arthur Jeffery Centre for the Study of Islam at Melbourne School of Theology, and part of the Understanding and Answering Islam team for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. He speaks regularly on religious belief, understanding and engaging with Islam, and occasionally on the ethics of sport.
Barney is a part-time Senior Fellow at the Centre for Public Christianity, based in Melbourne. He wrote for The Age for 32 years, the last 12 as Religion Editor. He also serves as media advisor to the Anglican Primate, Melbourne Archbishop Philip Freier. He speaks often on faith and secularism, the media, and music.
John was the Founding Director of the Centre for Public Christianity and now is a Senior Consultant to CPX. He has a degree in theology and a PhD in ancient history. An ordained Anglican minister, he was a Research Fellow of the Department of Ancient History at Macquarie University (2005-17), a Visiting Academic in the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford (2017-18), and teaches a course on the Historical Jesus for the Department of Jewish Studies at the University of Sydney. He has hosted two nationally televised documentaries and authored more than a dozen books.
